<h3>Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia in the Russian Federation OLEG YESAYAN</h3> <img height="255" align="left" width="192" style="padding: 5px; margin-right: 5px;" src="/u_files/image/O_Yesayan.jpg" alt="" /> Oleg Yesayan was born on November 12, 1946, in the Village of Sos, the District of Martuni, NKR. In 1970 he graduated from the Yerevan State University, the Faculty of Economics. 1970-1974 - worked at the Executive Committee, Communist party institutions of the District of Martuni, NKAO. 1974-1989 - lectured at the Stepanakert Pedagogical Institute. 1989-1991 – Official at the Nagorno Karabakh Special Governing Committee, the First Secretary of Party’s Martuni District Committee, and The First Deputy Chairman of the Executive Committee of NKAO Regional Council of People’s Deputies. 1992 – The Prime Minister of NKR. 1993-1996 – the Head of Department, Dean, Vice-Rector at the Artsakh State University 1996-1997 – the Head of NKR State Department of Statistics, Registration and Analysis. 1997-2005 – Chairman of the National Assembly of the NKR of the second and third convocations. 2005-2006 – Chairman of the State Securities Commission of Armenia. 2006-2010 – Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to the Republic of Belarus, the Plenipotentiary Representative of the Republic of Armenia to statutory and other bodies of the Commonwealth of Independent States. On January 21, 2010, was appointed as the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the RF. PhD in Economy (Moscow Institute of Management, 1985). Author of scientific works on Economic Theory and problems of Economics. Decorated with “Anania Shirakatsi” medal of Armenia, “Grigor Lousavorich” and “Mesrop Mashtots” awards of the NKR. Married, with two sons and three grandchildren.
